One of the things I enjoy most about photographing weddings is helping couples feel comfortable in front of the camera.
With these two, that process happened quickly.
Both chefs and graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, they brought warmth, kindness, and a wonderful sense of ease to their wedding day. Before long, they forgot about the camera and simply enjoyed being together, allowing us to create some truly natural and timeless portraits.

Locust Grove Estate is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Hudson Valley, especially in spring and autumn.
In April, the gardens begin to bloom and the grounds come alive with color. The flowering bushes provided a stunning backdrop for portraits, giving us the perfect setting for natural and timeless images.
With no distractions and no rush, we were able to create photographs that felt genuine and true to who they are as a couple.

Friends and family traveled from near and far to celebrate, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, joyful, and deeply personal.
One of the most meaningful details was that several of the couple's coworkers helped serve dinner at the reception. For two people whose careers revolve around hospitality, it was a fitting and heartfelt touch.
