Hello, I’m Deva Akman. I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer.
I am also a loving wife, a lifelong humanist, healthy living enthusiast.
I was raised and educated where Asia meets Europe, a place that exposed me to many cultures and shaped my curiosity, empathy, and appreciation for people. Photography is both my passion and my purpose. I feel incredibly fortunate to document people in their most meaningful moments, and I hope to be remembered as someone whose creative vision brought others joy and confidence.
In college, I took several photography classes and often received praise for my artistic eye, but photography remained a beloved hobby until 2012.

I have been photographing Weddings and Portraits professionally for more than ten years now. I am continually moved by the extraordinary people I meet, the customs I learn, and the emotional moments I am invited to witness. I have laughed with couples, cried during ceremonies, and grown close to the families I photograph. It is a privilege that never feels routine.
This work allows me to express my creativity while running a meaningful business and turning wonderful clients into lifelong friends.
I am empathetic, I am supportive, and I am always learning. I continue to invest in education, workshops, and styled shoots because growth matters to me. I strive every day to elevate my craft, and I truly love the journey.
